Clebrity Hot For Handbags

from mannmilton
With the launch of the new "audreybag" you can feed your passion for hot new handbags and feel better about your purchase by supporting a good cause. Audrey Hepburn's family have set up a new project that lets us choose from twelve classic, limited edition "audreybags", which are each one of an original limited edition of 36. Each comes with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity signed by Sean Hepburn Ferrer, and all proceeds from the sales of the handbags will go to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund.

The "audreybags" were each handcrafted by Egidio Fontana in the hills of Versilia, Tuscany, where they are precisely cut and stitched by hand, and fastened with the best brass finish hardware available on the market. Each handbag is made of 100% cotton canvas printed with a unique selection of Audrey Hepburn images tailored by Jessica Z. Diamond, a graphic designer and the Hepburn Estate archivist.

You know you'll be getting a quality handbag that is not only nice too look at, but one that will also withstand the test of time. Each bag undergoes an arduous seven-step finishing process to make sure it can stand daily wear. The bag's handles and trim are made of the highest quality, top grain Italian leather, which has been hand-selected for its time-tested patina. affixed to each and every "audreybag" is a leather tag embossed with Audrey Hepburn's trademark signature.

Proceeds will go to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund, which was created in 1994 by Audrey's sons, Sean and Luca, and her long-time friend Robby Wolders, in an effort to continue her work as an UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador. The Children's Fund's mission is to support organizations domestically and abroad that help less fortunate children around the world.

The "audreybag" website is currently scheduled to launch on November 1st, when the bags will go on sale. Prices range from $325 to $825.
